Amanda Rose Green Becomes Member of Nassau County Women’s Bar Association

Amanda Rose Green, an Associate Long Island divorce and family law attorney at Wisselman, Harounian & Associates, has recently become a member of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association. The Association is a respected legal organization that is committed to promoting the advancement of women throughout the local and legal communities.

The NCWBA has been active throughout Nassau County for many years and advocates for women by promoting fair and equal administration of justice and acting as a bold and unwavering voice for its members. Members of the association gain access to a successful support system that bolsters their efforts in a wide range of legal issues locally, statewide, and beyond. Members can also become involved in one of 30 active practice committees, including a specific committee focused on issues pertaining to domestic violence, and matrimonial or family law.

Attorney Green’s membership with the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association is a testament to her passion for the art of law and her continued commitment to growth in the legal profession. Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Green was an Assistant Managing Attorney tasked with supervising a large legal team, and had gained considerable experience by working with the Family Court Bureau of the Suffolk County’s Attorney’s Office and the Touro Law Center’s Family Law Clinic.

Ms. Green is also a current member of the National LGBT Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association, where she is actively involved with several committees, including the Matrimonial Law, Women in the Law, and Family Court Law & Procedure committees.
