Wisselman, Harounian & Associates, P.C. partner Jacqueline Harounian is speaking at the “Protecting Families: Divorce, Estate Planning, and Recognizing Elder Scams” event presented by our firm and other professionals.

Attorney Harounian is one of four speakers who will be presenting at the event, which is a free continuing education workshop and dinner for mental health professionals. Harounian’s presentation will focus on the legalities of divorce as couples age, including “financial aspects, retirement, pre-nups and post-nuptial agreements, mediation, spousal support and medical issues.” She will be joined by fellow presenters Aaron Futterman, who will speak about elder law and estate planning, and two speakers from the Nassau County Police Department. Robert Varela and Ahmad Kessba will give a presentation entitled “Current Trends in Elder Scams – A Law Enforcement Perspective.”

The event will take place on Tuesday, July 30th from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at The Amsterdam at Harborside. The venue is located at 300 East Overlook in Port Washington, NY.
