We are excited to announce that Long Island family law attorney Jerome Wisselman of Wisselman, Harounian & Associates is set to receive the Leadership in Law Award for 2015. Sponsored by Long Island Business news, this award recognizes the most dedicated, hard-working, skillful, compassionate, and tenacious attorneys in Long Island. Awardees must exhibit excellence not only in their law practices, but must also demonstrate a commitment to supporting and improving their communities. Candidates for this award are judged based on their professional accomplishments, involvement in their profession, and overall impact on their community.

Jerome will be presented with this prestigious award on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY.

Since founding Wisselman, Harounian & Associates in 1976, Jerome has built his family law practice into one of the largest and most well respected family law firms in the New York metro area. He has consistently been included in the SuperLawyers® list and has a 10.0 “Superb” Rating from Avvo. In addition to his many contributions to the legal field, Jerome also shares his knowledge by teaching and lecturing at various workshops, seminars, and other events. He is a former adjunct professor at Queensboro college, where he taught business law and accounting, and is the developer/leader of the legal workshop program for mental health professionals on matrimonial and family law related to patient issues, which is now in its twelfth year. He has made several media appearances and given a number of interviews, including his most recent interview with Michael Kessler on WRCN 103.9’s Business Profits in the REAL World.
