JEROME A. WISSELMAN, Esq., founder of Wisselman, Harounian & Associates, P.C., has maintained high standards of professional integrity and achievement for over 45 years in the practice of matrimonial & family law. He places emphasis on providing excellent client service, delivering smart solutions, and achieving successful results for his clients. Recognizing the importance of having sufficient resources to handle complicated litigation matters, he built a firm which is named among the Best Law Firms by US News & World Report. In addition, Mr. Wisselman is named as one of the Best Lawyers in New York by the Wall Street Journal. He has also been named as a Top 100 New York Metro Super Lawyer. His background in accounting and tax law has helped him successfully handle complex financial issues. Mr. Wisselman created and conducts ongoing legal workshops for mental health professionals, enabling them to better assist patients undergoing matrimonial litigation, and he formed support groups for people going through separation or divorce to discuss issues of concern in their matters. He was on the Board of Editors of the New York Family Law Monthly, where he was a regular contributor for 15 years, and was on the Board of Editors of the Matrimonial Strategist from 2015-2017. He has lectured on grandparental matters, has written on these issues for the New York State Bar Association, and has contributed to legislative efforts in this area of law
