Our Law Firm’s Mission Includes Service to the Community

At Wisselman Harounian Family Law, our mission is to give back to the community through volunteer and pro bono legal services.

We assist victims of domestic violence, child abuse and the needy through our involvement with The Safe Center, and free consultations for any one in need. Our attorneys donate hundreds of hours in pro bono time to people in the community.  As a result, our attorneys have been repeatedly recognized with the “Pro Bono Champion of Justice” Award by The Safe Center and the Nassau County Bar Association. In recent years, our staff has participated in holiday toy drives, back to school drives for school supplies for needy children, as well as the Sunrise Walk to hep children with cancer.

We also provide yearly financial sponsorship and pro bono legal assistance to many non-profit organizations, including: Sunrise Day Camp, Mondays Cancer Care Foundation, Commonpoint UJA, Boy Scouts of America; Avon Breast Cancer Walk, Crohns and Colitis Foundation, Temple Israel of Great Neck, United Jewish Appeal, and The Safe Center of Long Island and many others.  

Our Managing Partner, Jacqueline Harounian, proudly serves on the Executive Boards of The Brandeis Association and Mondays Cancer Care, and on the Board of Directors of JALBCA.
