Woman of the Year
Attorney Jacqueline Harounian was recognized as a “2013 Woman of the Year” by Hadassah (Yashar Chapter), at their Conference Banquet held at the Long Island Marriott Hotel on May 22, 2013. The Yashar chapter is an active chapter of the Nassau County Bar Association comprised of Jewish women lawyers and Judges. Yashar’s mission has been to combine education with networking by presenting programs of interest to the Jewish legal community. At the banquet, Shahar Azani, Consul for Media Affairs and Consulate General of Israel, was the guest speaker. Over 25 chapters from the Nassau region attended to offer congratulations to the recipients. Jacqueline is not only a member and officer of Yashar but is a Life Member of Hadassah and a Hadassah Advocate helping to raise funds for medical care and research in Israel. We are so proud of Jacqueline on her accomplishment as Hadassah Woman of the Year!
