Let’s Get Started: Our Intake Process to Get You the Best Possible Outcome

You will connect with a member of our support team who will get some key information from you. You may be asked to supply a brief chronology and documents. This process is completely confidential.  We also have to do a “conflict check” to make sure your spouse has not been a client of our firm.

You will be booked for a 1 hour or a 30 minute consultation with a lawyer at Wisselman Harounian Family Law. These consultations are held over zoom, however we also accomodate in-person consultations depending on the case. The length of the consultation will depend on the complexity of your matter. We always strive to book your consultation as soon as possible, and will match you with the appropriate lawyer. There is a no fee for the consultation.

During the consultation, you will have an opportunity to describe your situation in detail, ask questions and discuss your goals and legal options with the lawyer.

If you choose to retain our firm, we will proceed to represent you in your matter and develop a personalized plan to meet your goals and get you the results and justice that you deserve. We will discuss your options for mediation, negotiated settlement, or litigation (i.e. going to Court).  If you are in a crisis or emergency situation, we will outline a strategy to get you help on an expedited basis.
